Pope Francis’ Prayer to Mary
O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain,
keeping your faith firm.
You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need,
and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee,
we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father
and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings
and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection.
Amen.
Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God.
Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger,
O glorious and blessed Virgin.
National Prayer for Canada
O God,
We gather together separated by life-saving distancing,
but united more than ever in spirit;
We know we are in a war against COVID-19 together,
and the more together we are,
the better and stronger we will emerge:
We know the challenges are enormous, yet so are the opportunities;
That whether we are in isolation with loved ones, or alone,
we will have abundance of time;
We commit to using that time to the max, to help those in greater need
in whatever way we can;
We know we all have the opportunity, and time,
to be life savers and life enhancers;
We give thanks for those who are on the front line
taking care of those who are not well;
We give thanks for the researchers who are working at breakneck speed
to find cure and vaccine;
We give thanks for our leaders, federal, provincial and local,
for their dedication to all of us;
We give thanks for the providers of our daily needs
who go to work in spite of the risk;
We give thanks for those who have ramped up their ability
to produce life-saving supplies.
We pray for the well-being of all our life savers;
for those who are not well, that they recover fully;
for those enduring difficulty, that they may overcome their challenges.
We pray that a cure and vaccine will soon be available,
and that we all – family, friends, all Canadians, the entire world
may be healed in body and spirit.
We ask you, O God, to bless our leaders, our front line care givers,
our life savers and life enhancers.
We ask you, O God, to bless Canada, to bless the world, to bless everyone.
Amen.

Consecration of the Sick to Mary
O kind and good Mother, whose own soul was pierced by the sword of sorrow,
look upon us while, in our sickness, we arraign ourselves beside you on the
Calvary where your Jesus hangs.
Dowered with the high grace of suffering, and hopeful of fulfilling in our own flesh
what is wanting in our sharing of Christ’s passion, on behalf of his Mystical Body,
the Church, we consecrate to you ourselves and our pain.
We pray that you will place them on that Altar of the Cross to which Jesus is affixed.
May they be little victims of propitiation for our salvation, for the salvation of all peoples.
O Mother of Sorrows, accept this consecration. Strengthen our hopeful hearts, that as partakers of Christ’s sufferings we may also share in his comfort now and for evermore. Amen.
Prayer for God’s Mercy: COVID-19
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of good health and peace that we have
enjoyed for so many years. As we find ourselves in this time of crisis today, we ask
for your divine intervention and mercy to be upon each of us.
Come and guide the minds of those working to discover a treatment to the COVID-19
virus. Grant them wisdom, knowledge, and clarity of mind, so that all peoples will be
free from the threat of this ailment.
We also pray for the healthcare workers that are standing in the front line of this battle. Father, we thank you for their hearts of service, putting the needs of society before their own, generously responding to the cry of Your people. We ask that You will grant them strength and protection. As they give of themselves in selfless service, may You fill them
with your Holy Spirit as they work to be Your healing hands and feet!
Father, we also surrender to You all those who have been afflicted with the virus.
Grant them Your healing grace, merciful Father, so that they may recover swiftly and
continue to be witnesses of Your love in their lives.
Mother Mary, we ask for your intercession in this great time of need. Cover each of us
with your blue mantle of protection, so that we may be preserved in good health to
continue to glorify your son, Jesus Christ. We make this prayer through Christ, our
Saviour and Redeemer. Amen.
Act Of Consecration To The Holy Family
O Jesus, our most loving Redeemer, Who having come to enlighten the world,

family as it dedicates and consecrates itself to you this day.
Defend us, guard us and establish among us Your holy fear, true peace and unity in
Christian love: in order that by conforming ourselves to the divine pattern of your
Family we may be able, all of us without exception, to attain to eternal happiness.

and ask you to preside over our gathering together, to bless our spiritual and temporal affairs, to ward off all danger from us, to sanctify our joys and comfort our sorrows.
our out Your blessings on all family members, present and absent, and be merciful to
our departed ones.
Mary, dear Mother of Jesus and our Mother, by your kind intercession make this
our humble offering acceptable in the sight of Jesus and obtain for us His graces and blessings. Pray to Jesus too, for all the families of the world, to guard the cradle of the newborn, the schools of the young and their vocations.
Saint Joseph, most holy Guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by your prayers in all
our spiritual and temporal necessities; that we may be able to praise our divine Saviour Jesus, together with Mary and you, for all eternity.
Prayer to St Michael For Protection
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the malice
and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince
of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.
